ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FLHealing Innovations, a Nashville-based medical technology company specializing in rehabilitation robotics, is excited to announce its partnership with CORE (Center of Recovery & Exercise) in Altamonte Springs, Florida. CORE has added the Rise&Walk® InClinic to its facility, completed clinical training, and is now using the technology with clients as part of its activity-based recovery programs. With this addition, one of the most advanced robotic gait training systems in the country is now available to the Greater Orlando neurorecovery community.

CORE is a leading activity-based training center serving individuals with spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and other neurological conditions. The center’s individualized programs pair locomotor training, aquatic training, and muscle strength-and-endurance work with state-of-the-art equipment, expert trainers, and a safe, supportive, goal-oriented environment. The addition of the Rise&Walk extends CORE’s existing program with a versatile, multi-modal platform built for high-intensity, high-repetition neurorehabilitation that supports recovery across every phase, from early standing and weight bearing to active gait training.

The Rise&Walk is the world’s first 3-in-1 rehabilitation station, combining robotic-assisted gait training, seated reciprocal stepping, and standing balance support in a single compact system. The platform enables a single clinician to deliver high-intensity training sessions that generate up to 2,500 steps per session, supporting the neuroplasticity-driven recovery that is foundational to lasting functional improvement. Real-time rate of perceived exertion (RPE) tracking allows trainers to individualize each session to a client’s tolerance and progression, keeping therapy evidence-based and goal-oriented.

“CORE has built an incredible reputation in Central Florida for meeting people where they are in their recovery and relentlessly pushing what’s possible through activity-based training,” said Luke Benda, CEO of Healing Innovations. “We’re proud to partner with a team that shares our belief that access to advanced rehabilitation technology should not be limited to a handful of major medical centers. Bringing the Rise&Walk to CORE means more individuals across Florida will have the opportunity to stand, step, and train in ways that were previously out of reach.”

"At CORE, we believe recovery is driven by action. Through a positive, goal-oriented environment, innovative technology, and an expert team of Neuro-Exercise Specialists, our clients make meaningful progress and continue moving beyond paralysis," said Malerie Robinson, Executive Director at CORE. “Adding the Rise&Walk to our Activity Based Training program expands our ability to provide a powerful and safe pathway for clients to stand, step, balance and build the strength and confidence that translates directly into greater independence at home and in their communities. We’re thrilled to partner with Healing Innovations to bring this transformative technology to the individuals and families we serve across Central Florida.”

The launch at CORE continues Healing Innovations’ national growth, building on a deployment footprint that spans more than 50 rehabilitation hospitals and recovery centers across the country. As the Rise&Walk network expands, Healing Innovations remains focused on partnering with leading clinical and community-based teams, supporting them with comprehensive training, and ensuring every patient who steps into the system has the opportunity to take meaningful steps forward.
