LOUISVILLE, Ky. – UofL Health – Frazier Rehabilitation Institute is the first rehabilitation center in Kentucky to offer the Rise&Walk® InClinic, the world’s first three-in-one robotic rehabilitation station. The innovative system combines gait training, seated stepping and standing balance support in a single device, enabling therapists to deliver high-repetition, high-intensity training safely and efficiently for patients recovering from stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury and other neurological conditions.

Adding Rise&Walk reflects Frazier Rehabilitation Institute’s commitment to giving patients access to the latest advancements in rehabilitation technology. Designed to support a wide range of mobility levels, the system allows our therapy team to tailor treatment plans to each patient’s unique recovery needs, including individuals who are not yet able to walk independently.

The Rise&Walk system helps patients participate in all movement-related therapy throughout their recovery journey. By providing adjustable support and assistance, our team can safely help patients practice movements that promote strength, balance, coordination and mobility.

By allowing patients to spend more time actively engaged in therapy, Rise&Walk may help improve gait, endurance and confidence. The technology supports a wide range of rehabilitation needs and provides patients with access to advanced therapy designed to help them regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Rise&Walk is available at the Frazier Rehab Institute – Center for Advanced NeuroRehab – Assistive Technology Lab, located on the 12th floor of Frazier Rehab Institute’s downtown Louisville inpatient rehabilitation campus.
